First and foremost I consider myself a foodie! My love for the science of nutrition developed in my early 20s; I immediately saw the gap that existed between the culinary industry and the dietetics niche. 

It truly is my goal to work with my clients, and the community, to show people how blending the worlds of delicious food and wholesome nutrition can be simple! 

Here are some simple ways you can being a journey towards health and wellness: 

– Limit soda and sugar sweetened beverages; choose water 99% of the time! Calories from soda and juices can add up quickly throughout the day.

– Be mindful of portion sizes when eating at home and eating out. It can be helpful to measure foods out the first few times, so that you know what the serving looks like. 

 

– Find activities you enjoy, and aim to be active most days of the week!
